Provided Property Condition Survey (PCS) reports for commercial real estate
properties - shopping malls, office buildings, industrial facilities,
apartment communities, medical care facilities, etc. MS-Word reports
included condition description of all major property components, plus
estimated costs for immediate repairs and replacement reserves over the loan
term were presented in an MS-Excel spreadsheet analysis. In general, I
prepared on average two or more of these reports per week. Typically, I
would arrange an on-site schedule, make travel arrangements, travel to the
site within the SE USA, interview property management, gather site data & a
few hundred photos, then return home and prepare my reports. I worked from
home with little direct supervision. EBI provided a few days of annual
training, and remote report reviewers directed my work. I was highly
productive in this work and accomplished my assignments on time - meeting
all quality requirements. In September 2007, I was laid off due to a
nationwide downturn in the United States commercial real estate mortgage
market.
